I just wanted to take a quick moment to introduce myself. Some of you may remember that in February of this year, SWAFS reached out to its membership to see if anyone would be interested in serving as the SWAFS representative to SWGDRUG (Scientific Working Group for the Analysis of Seized Drugs). I put my name forth and have the honor of representing SWAFS as its representative to SWGDRUG.
There are two documents that are currently open for public comments following revisions that were discussed and made during this year’s meeting: SWGDRUG Recommendations v8.2, and an update to Supplemental Document-7 (Methods of Analysis). These documents can be found on the SWGDRUG webpage (https://swgdrug.org/pending.htm) along with a link to the Google Docs form to provide comments. The public comment period will be until February 7, 2024. Please take the time to read through the documents and provide feedback!
The meeting minutes from this year’s meeting, and the December 2023 SWGDRUG Bulletin documents can also be found on the SWGDRUG website (https://swgdrug.org/index.htm).
